After you register to join the team, a coach and/or team manager will reach out to you and then add you to the team communication channel (either GroupMe or TeamSnap) so that you can stay updated on practices, games, and tournaments.

PRACTICES start Mid-August and run through the end of October. Usually 2 practices/week in the evening at either Ebster or Legacy. The schedule specifics will be posted on the Decatur Rec Center pages in July when registration opens.

Interscholastic GAMES are on weekday afternoons, We also participate in some weekend events: two local round robin TOURNAMENTS, and one local end-of-season State Championship.

There are No Tryouts for Middle School- everyone makes the team! Instead, you can register through Decatur Parks and Rec. All middle schoolers, regardless of which school they attend, are welcome.

Our Middle School program is run in partnership with Decatur Parks and Rec Center. They handle registrations, payment, and field reservations. We (Decatur Ultimate) help with recruiting for coaches and team managers.

They typically publish their registration & sign up links in July: https://www.decaturga.com/parksrec/page/youth-athletics. We usually have room to keep accepting players even after the season has started.

The Decatur High School coaches will sometimes allow 7th and 8th graders to tryout for JV. They cannot accommodate this all years, but depending on roster numbers, they sometimes allow it. If you are in 7th or 8th grade and interested in that possibility, please fill out the interest form on the high school page.

If you would like to connect with the team in the off-season, please visit our CONTACT PAGE and we look forward to talking with you about off-season playing opportunities!
